Druids in World of Warcraft have a few options for leveling builds. There’s balance spec, which specializes in ranged magical damage and still lets you be a respectable healer. If you’re the group-friendly type, you can spec restoration and heal your way through instances, though this makes soloing somewhat painful. The final option is going with a feral druid leveling build. This lets you have the option of tanking for groups, while still being able to solo very well.

Your damage and survivability are through the roof, and you can fill a role in the group with much less competition than DPS.
